How is the book personalised?

Both of you are in it: the child and you, drawn from a photo or from your words. The journey starts where you live, passes real places on the way, and ends at their front door. With a few mishaps along the way!

What’s the story?

You are here. They are there. And you miss them very, very much. So you grab your bag and set off, and every page puts something in the way. Does that turn you round? NO! Something silly happens, you bounce, splash and float right past it, and on you go. Meanwhile they are waiting at the window, until, knock knock, you are there.

Who is Tandem?
We’re a small team of parents, doctors and child psychologists who got tired of apps built to keep children quiet. Tandem makes stories you and your child make together. Now we print them, bind them and post them, with their name on the cover.
Do I need a photo of both of us?
One of each is best, but you can tell us what either of you looks like in words if you'd rather not share a photo.
What if it arrives and it’s not right?
Tell us. A real person reads every message, and if the book is not right we put it right or give you your money back.
