Who is Tandem?
Tandem is a British startup that is 100% focused on getting more kids reading and playing. We build personalised stories where your child is the star. Their name is on the cover, their face is in the pictures, and the whole story is built around where they live and what they love right now. We’re a small team of parents, doctors and child psychologists who believe technology, used responsibly, can make childhood more magical. One of us reads every book before it’s printed.
How do I make a personalised book?
Pick their book. Tell us their name and the thing they’re obsessed with at the moment, of what they want to be when they grow up. Sign it with your own name for the cover. We print it and post it.
How long does it take to make one?
About four minutes of your time. Then a few minutes of ours while the pages are drawn, and you can read each one as it lands. Printing and posting takes a 5-7 more days.
How much are Tandem books?
A printed book is £19.99 for a softcover and £27.99 for a hardcover. A digital copy is £4.99. You see every price before you pay, and you can read the whole book before you buy.
What if it arrives and it’s not right?
Tell us. A real person reads every message, and if the book is not right we promise to put it right or give you your money back.
